Touch a Truck

After the Touch and truck event we headed over to the mall to get a bite to eat and walk around for awhile. Basically to pass time until we went to our next free event. The Children's Museum downtown was hosting it s free Friday night event. It was really cool and Nolan loved playing with all the cool toys and in the different rooms. They had different play areas set up as a resterant, kitchen, store, water area, and so much more. Very cool.

Did I mention how we left the house around noonish and our gas light came on. Gail said oh we have plenty of gas to get us where we need to go today. Well we made it until coming home from the museum we ran out of gas on the high way. Carolyn, his mother, was very nice to come and save the day. Gail was still saying how we should of had enough gas, but my thought is and always will be if the gas light comes on, go get gas!!!! Thanks Carolyn for saving us!! :) Oh yeah lets just say I was not very happy with my hubby!!!!

Getting ready to go swinmming

Deals

Gail had plans to help his mom this morning. So I had made plans last week to go to KI with my kids and my mom today. However, my mom and I saw some garage sales and decided to hit them first before heading to KI, well by the time we were done garage saling Gail was done helping his mom so we all headed to KI together. It was a great day. Except for the incident where we stood in line to ride a boat ride that Nolan was tall enough to ride last year, but not this year. I guess they changed the height requirement, oH yeah and they let him ride it last weekend with Gail and his cousin Josh. We were not very happy!!! We were not for sure how Nolan was going to react to not being able to ride the ride, but he only acted really sad, he did not complain. I felt so bad for him!! :(
Anyways check out the deals and cool stuff I got today.

Football goal post! He is a little young for this, but
since daddy loves football, I thought this would be
great when he got older.
Nolan loves to play soccer. He loves this goal.

Ok this is not for my son, it was for me.
It was a great deal and I got it for a prop for
pictures.

Nolan

I love this picture of Nolan waiting to go outside to play.

Here is my dad holding Nathaniel for the 1st time since his surgery. He could only hold him for about 2 minutes. But so sweet!!!

Nathaniel sits up

Nathaniel has been trying to hold himself up lately. Well today he finally did it for more than 2 seconds. He did this on June 13, 2008 just one day before he turned 4 months.

Now we just have to work on that posture! ;)

Back Yard Bible School

Our church, Morning Star Baptist, meets in one of the Lakota Elementary school buildings until our church building is complete. So instead of having a Vacation Bible school, we have a Back Yard Bible school. Which is Where members of our church go to 4 different locations like parks and have a Bible school there. We have done this for the past few years and it is a lot of fun and we get great turn outs. Nolan enjoyed himself too.
Capture the flag game. He did not want to give up
this flag.

The Boys

Nolan wanted me to take a picture. Of course if I
wanted him to get pictures done he would not
have sat this good.

These are some pictures of the boys laughing
and playing with each other.

Nolan got this really cool water toy for his 2nd B-day
from my parents. He was trying it out for the 1st
time.

Here is a video of him playing with his baseball toy. He got this toy for his 1st B-day
from his Aunt Shelley and her family. He was too little to play with it then, but he wanted
to get it out so we did. He loves it!!
