Family Fun Day!!!

Friday was such a beautiful day. Gail and I left the house with Nolan around 11:3o am and did not come home until around 6:00 pm. Our day started with lunch at Taco Bells. We then made our way to a small pond in my parents neighborhood to feed the ducks. It was the first time Nolan saw ducks. He even said the word duck one time. He was very excited to see them, but enjoyed eating the bread more. After feeding the ducks we headed to a park. Nolan was still to little to enjoy the slide, swings, and ect... but he sure loved watching the other kids play. Next, we went to the Cone. This place is cool. They have great soft served ice cream and Nolan loved eating it and playing on their toys. Before making our way home we decided to stop and visit some friends from our old church, Brenda and Merle Fee. It was so nice getting to spend some time with them. They are the sweetest couple. We then made our way home and played in the yard with Nolan's truck. After dinner Nolan went to bed early around 9:3o and we stayed up watching movies. It was so nice today because Nolan slept past 10:00 today. He usually goes to bed anywhere between 9:15-10:00 and usually gets up anytime around 8:00-9;30. It was so nice to sleep in past 9. We would have probably slept longer but the phone rang and woke us all up. Thanks mom~! :) Here are some pictures and video of our family fun day.

Bunny Costume Pictures

I took these pictures of Nolan outside today in his bunny costume. I think they turned out pretty good. I took 47 pictures and deleted 20 of them. I am only printing 15 of them. So I think I did pretty good narrowing them down. Here are a few of the pictures and some video of him. He loved doing this so much. He never even tried to get out of the basket! :)

New High Chair

Well I loved are old high chair. It was an Eddie Bauer chair and it matched our kitchen table great. I loved everything about this high chair except for one major thing. Nolan could get out of it. Yes, we buckled him in, but the smart little guy figured out how to get out of the buckle without unbuckling it. Yes, we had it as tight as you can get it too. Anyways, I took it back to babies r us and they were great about it. I got a new high chair that is pretty cool. It folds up so now we can store it when we need more room and it has an area where you can put toys on it. Gail and I were trying to figure out how to get the one toy thing off, and as we were thinking and talking about it Nolan came over and just took it off with no problem. He is such a smart kid! (Yes of course I am biased.) We have a real thinker on our hands. It amazes me what he can do. Anyways this high chair has buckles that come across the sholders and the lap! Yeah! There is no escaping the high chair now. At least that is what I am thinking and hoping. If he figures out how to get out of this one, I don't know what we will do.

Happy B-Day Nolan!

Nolan has turned 1 years old today. He was born at 4:01 PM on March 21st last year. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. He is doing so many cute things right now. I love watching him walk everywhere now. However, I hate the fact that with walking comes bumps and burises. Oh well that stage will go away soon.. Here are a couple of pictures of him on his B-day wearing his b-day hat and shirt. We are celebrating his big day this Sat. so I will post his b-day party sat. or sun.
