Nolan Flirts!!!

Our friends Kevin/Angie have two really cute little girls: Ava and Ella. We all attend the same church. Ella is about 1 1/2 years old and Nolan is 11 mts. They are both in the nursery together. Angie and I tease each other that Nolan and Ella will get married when they grow up. Well tonight Angie and Aunt Elaine heard him say "Hi Ella, when she walked into the nursery. I wish I could have heard that!!! :)

Newly Wed Game

Our Young Marrieds class from church had an activity tonight. We played the Newly Wed Game. It was so much fun. Gail and I tied for 2nd place and were only 1 question away from tying with the two first place people. This was one of the most fun and best activities ever! Anyways Matt, Gail's brother, was the host. Check out his great outfit! We have some video and pictures of tonight. Thanks to all who put the activity together.

Nolan watches Seseme Street

I caught Nolan watching Seseme Street today. This kid hardly ever sits still, so this was a rare moment. He even watched some of Molly afterwards. When he noticed I had the camera he stopped watching and starting being a ham.

Scrapbooking!

Here our my recent pages to Nolan's scrapbook. He only has 3 more pages left until his book is complete. I think I will do some 11 month photos for those pages, and then start a new book for his 1st year. Enjoy

My FairyTale Romance with my Hubby!

Wow I cannot Believe it has been 5 years to the day that Gail and I got engaged. I was going to say that Gail asked me to Marry him, but He actually never asked me to marry him, I didn't ask him either. So are you wondering how did I get married? Well he asked "Will you let me take care of you for the rest of your life?" I said I would have to be an idiot to say no to that!!
Here is our story, we had it in our wedding program as well.

Click on the images for a readable view.

Part 2

Ok so after he put the ring on my finger, we were off to tell people our good news. Our first stop was going to his parents, however, they were not home. So I called my parents and told my mom that Gail and I were coming over to talk. When we got there the tv was on and Gail finally said to my parents "I think you know why we are here." (tv was still going on .... my dad was still paying more attention to the tv, because my mom did not inform him that we wanted to talk to both of them, even though we told her too and she had a pretty good idea why we were coming over. Finally we just broke the news... My dad was concerned about it, since We had only been dating for about a month, he just kept asking me if I was really sure about doing this, how We hadn't been dating very long etc etc. My mom on the other hand was all for it!! My dad finally came around once he got to know Gail and his family a little more.
Ok, so now we wanted to go and tell Gail's parents. So finally someone was home at Gail's parents, but only his mom. So Gail called his dad and asked him to come home and talk. His dad kept asking Gail why and all Gail told him was that he wanted to talk, but his dad kept saying why, until Gail finally said dad just come home I never ask you to do this so just come. Finally he did. When we told them the news I wanted to hide... Carolyn's face went white as a ghost, and her mouth fell to the floor. Gail's dad on the other hand was sitting down and his face turned red. They were very surprised because they had been out of town for 3 weeks and didn't know how serious we were, besides that Gail always keeps everything close to the vest and usually pleaded the 5th when asked about us. His parents were very happy, and said they were surprised but not shocked. I tend to disagree when your mouth drops and your face turns red that is my definition of shocked!! Anyway there is so much more I could say, but it is a lot easier to tell you in person, just ask!

Washing More Than Clothes Today!

When I opened up my wash machine today I noticed something very odd had got washed with our clothes. Somehow I washed a light bulb. Apparently the box of light bulbs dropped off the shelf into the wash machine. Thankfully it was only one bulb. Plus I was more surprised that the light bulb was not broken. The box on the other hand was destroyed and was scattered all over our clothes.

Nolan TupperWare

Nolan must have got tired of my cabinet being a mess and decided it was time to straighten them up for me. However, I think he is a little confused on how to clean, because most of my Tupperware ended up on the kitchen floor. Oh well, he had fun, and my cabinet ended up getting straightened up that night. I tried to get some video, but by the time I started taping he was pretty much done, and I did not do a good job with video taping, but here it is anyways.

Family Day!

After my computer Geek husband was able to pry himself off his beloved computer, we had a family day. It was cool because we went to the mall, ate at Dave & Busters, played games there, and then went to Picture Innovations in West chester to schedule a photo shoot in March. We will be getting our first family picture and Nolan's first year picture. Than we went to Wal-Mart to shop for needed items, except the items we found in the Valentine discount aisle. Well I now only have a few weeks before we get our pictures taken, so that is giving me an excuse to go out and maybe get a new outfit for Nolan, and me. I left Gail out because he hates me shopping for clothes for him. I don' t know to go causal or dress up for the pictures. I thinking casual might be nice. It is more like us... Jeans! :) Anyways here are some pictures and video of my two kids playing at D & B's Today!

All I want for my B-day is my Two Front Teeth!

I was changing Nolan's diaper today and I noticed that his right upper front tooth has broke the skin. Signs of another tooth on his right side looks to have broken through too. So this boy looks like he just might have some teeth for his 1st B-day. The funny thing is everyone was telling me that the bottom two front teeth would be first... leave it to us to have a child that goes against the majority... that could mean good or bad things to come. Heheheheh :) Anyways, since I was expecting his bottom teeth to come in first I wasn't really even checking for top teeth. I just happen to notice them when he laughed today on the changing table. That would explain the low grade fever, and runny nose the past few days!

Catching some ZZZZZ'S

Nolan was so tired he fell asleep in this funny position. I just had to get a picture and video. I tried to move him to the couch, but that did not make him happy, so we left well enough alone.

Lion was guarding his little buddy Nolan!

Gail sledding!

Gail went outside to work on the driveway tonight. However, when I looked out the back window to check out the snow I found him with his sled sliding down the hill. I video taped his sledding through the window. Tuned out pretty good! By The way he did a pretty good job on the driveway, well as good as you can do in this NASTY weather

Winter 2007 Pictures

Here are some winter storm pictures from our front and backyard.

Front yard. The trees look so beautiful!

We measured this icicle,it was 42 inches long.(almost 4 ft.) I wonder how long it would of been if he had not knocked it down.

The snow in the air was only visible by the camera, not by the naked eye. Cool huh?

Great Deal!

Ok so it is too soon to put Nolan in a toddler bed, and believe me I am not ready for my baby to grow up that fast yet. But when you get a deal, you take it. My mom found this cute toddler bed for only $12.00! Yeah!!!! I looked on walmart's site and the beds range from $40.00 and up. Way to go mom! We let Nolan play on it today, and he was having a ball. He even had the bed hair to go along with the bed. Now only to find a place to store it until he is bigger! :)

His hair was sticking straight up! :)

Here is video of him playing on the bed with Gail.

Trip to Dayton to see Great G-Ma & G-Pa Terrell

Gail, Nolan, and I traveled to Dayton today to see Nolan's great grandparents. Gpa is 91 and Gma is 87!! It was funny because Gail decided to not tell them that we were coming. HE gets in the car and calls them and talks to them the whole time we were traveling. When we turned into their drive way Gail informed them that they still had a newspaper in the driveway. It took them a moment to realize that we were in their driveway. They were so excited to see us, but of course more excited to see Nolan. They don't get to see him much, but Nolan loved seeing them. He really loved G-Pa's dentures. :)

Visting G-Ma & G-Pa Hon/New Step Record

Well Gail and I went to Chick Fil-A and had a great meal last night. We only spent $1.50 for both of us. We had 2 free Chicken sandwich coupons and splurged and bought a large Fry that we split. Since we were over there in West Chester we decided to stop by my parents house to visit. Of course we did not have the camera again, and this is when Nolan decided to break his step record. He is now up to 9 consecutive steps.

Happy Big Kid!

I was going to the mall today to actually not buy anything. I was only going to return some 12 month baby shirts that I decided not to use for Nolan's Valentine pictures. Anyways, the first store I walked by was the toy store. They were having 50% off thier sleds, so yes I bought one for my big kid. He was very happy to have his very own sled to play with today. He took it out for a run after dinner. Nolan went for a ride too of course.

More Fun in the Snow!

Gail stayed home today due to car trouble. He thinks he has fixed the problem. Anyways he made his way out to Wal-mart, Target, and other stores in hopes to find a sled. In my last blog I mentioned how Gail was disappointed because I had bought a baby sled instead of an adult sled for him and Nolan to share. Well he was disappointed yet again today due to the fact the stores were out out sleds.:( He came home and decided that he was going to use a laundry basket to push Nolan around in the snow instead of the baby sled. Well Nolan liked the laundry basket better, and even loved going down the hill in the snow. He only cried when some snow went in his face. Nolan's favorite part about snow is still coming in and eating it off the floor. Go figure!

Nolan got some snow in his face!

Daddy gives him a gentle push down the hill! Nolan loved it!
